For the past few weeks we have been working on something really, really cool! Embedded fonts and and contents list – every book that is created with Travel Kollekt now has an auto-generated Contents list included in the first pages.

Why embedded fonts and spending time on developing this? Because not every mac or pc has the same fonts installed and in order to make your books abways look right and keep the layout and it’s functionalities this is a BIG deal. Travel Kollekt currently uses the font: Noto from Google

We choose this font because we could secure that books would work in all languages and characters sets going forward. This means you can actually create a book that mixes japanese, thai, korean and/or chinese plus all roman languages all in one book!

Also coming up soon: Interactive links in the e-books.

The pictures in this post are from our Co-founder, André’s research compendium about Sri Lanka and his “Good Life X (GLX) network delegation tour” and a previous journey to Georgia during the summer of 2019. GLX is an entrepreneurship platform and supported through the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Program by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in Sri Lanka.
